Terms & Conditions

Effective from January 1, 2026

1. CONTRACTING PARTIES

These Terms & Conditions are legally binding between the traveler(s) (“Client”) and Gustav’s Europe & Beyond, operated by Gustav’s Europe & Beyond, part of a Swedish limited liability company (org.no. 559030-6410), hereinafter referred to as “GE&B”.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICES
GE&B provides bespoke journey design, travel advisory, planning services and, where agreed, the coordination of selected travel arrangements and private guiding.

GE&B does not sell pre-packaged tours. All journeys are individually designed and shaped in dialogue with the Client.

3. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Acceptance of a written proposal, confirmation, or invoice issued by GE&B constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms apply from the moment a Planning Fee or other agreed payment is received by GE&B.

4. DESIGN & PLANNING SERVICES
GE&B’s work begins with professional design and advisory services, which may include research, consultations, itinerary design, logistical structuring and strategic recommendations.

All Journey Proposals are conceptual and indicative until individual services have been confirmed and booked.

Design and planning services are intellectual work products and are provided independently of whether the Client proceeds with bookings.

5. PLANNING FEE
A non-refundable Planning Fee applies to all bespoke journey design projects.

  • The Planning Fee covers professional time, expertise, research and design

  • The amount is confirmed in writing prior to commencement

  • The Planning Fee does not constitute a booking of travel services

  • Where agreed, the Planning Fee may be credited against GE&B’s professional fees if the journey proceeds to booking through GE&B

No reservations or financial commitments toward third-party suppliers are made prior to receipt of the Planning Fee, unless explicitly agreed in writing.

6. JOURNEY PROPOSALS & CHANGES
Journey Proposals, outlines and schedules are subject to availability and may change due to circumstances beyond GE&B’s control.

GE&B reserves the right to amend, adjust or withdraw proposed elements if required for operational, safety or practical reasons. Every effort will be made to preserve the overall intent, balance and quality of the journey.

7. BOOKING & DEPOSITS
Where GE&B is responsible for confirming and contracting third-party services, a deposit is required. Unless otherwise specified, this is typically 25% of the estimated journey cost.

The remaining balance is payable on the date stated in the confirmation, normally 40 days prior to departure.

For reservations made after this date, full payment is required at confirmation.

8. ACCOMMODATION, MEALS & TRANSPORT
Accommodation, meals, transfers and transportation are provided only when explicitly confirmed in writing.

Descriptions reflect the information available at the time of planning. Local conditions, seasonal changes and operational circumstances may result in variations.

9. SPECIAL REQUESTS
Special requests should be communicated as early as possible. While GE&B will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, they cannot be guaranteed.

10. BAGGAGE
Baggage and personal belongings travel at the Client’s own risk. GE&B assumes no liability for loss or damage. Baggage insurance is strongly recommended.

11. TAXES & GRATUITIES
Local taxes, city taxes and gratuities are not included unless explicitly stated. Gratuities remain at the Client’s discretion.

12. EXCLUSIONS
Unless expressly included in writing, the journey price excludes international and domestic flights, passports, visas, travel insurance, excess baggage charges, and items of a personal nature such as drinks, laundry and telephone calls.

Flights are booked independently by the Client, either directly or through a third-party travel advisor. Where appropriate, GE&B may collaborate with trusted travel advisors for flights, insurance and formal travel arrangements. If the Client already works with a travel advisor, GE&B is happy to collaborate.

13. PRICING
All prices are based on current rates, exchange levels and tariffs at the time of planning and are subject to revision prior to confirmation.

14. PHOTOGRAPHY & PRIVACY
GE&B respects the privacy of all Clients.

  • Photographs of Clients are taken only with prior written consent

  • Clients are requested not to photograph or film staff or guides without permission

  • The use of drones is prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing

15. ACTIVITIES & RISKS
Some activities carry inherent risks and may be subject to weather or local conditions. Participation is at the Client’s own discretion and risk.

16. CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
Unless otherwise agreed, the following cancellation terms apply:

From booking to 61 days prior to departure – loss of deposit
60–41 days prior – 50% of journey cost
40–15 days prior – 75% of journey cost
14 days or less – 100% of journey cost

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Planning Fees are always non-refundable.

Third-party supplier cancellation policies may impose additional charges.

17. CANCELLATION BY GE&B
GE&B reserves the right to cancel arrangements due to force majeure, non-payment or circumstances beyond its control.

In such cases, GE&B will offer alternative arrangements where possible or provide a proportional refund of amounts received, excluding Planning Fees.

18. FORCE MAJEURE
GE&B is not liable for events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, epidemics, weather conditions or transportation disruptions.

19. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
GE&B acts as a designer, advisor and coordinator and does not own or operate hotels, transport providers or activity suppliers.

All such suppliers are independent contractors. GE&B is not liable for their acts, omissions or failures.

Any liability of GE&B is limited to the amount of fees retained by GE&B in connection with the relevant services.

20. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and remains the Client’s responsibility.

21. PASSPORTS, VISAS & HEALTH
Clients are responsible for ensuring valid travel documents, visas, vaccinations and medical fitness for travel.

22. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sweden.

Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.

Effective as of January 1, 2026
